Helping Hands

"It just seemed like it was back-to-back and it came in waves," said Craig Fugate, who heads the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency.

A DISASTER strikes anytime, anywhere. It takes many forms -- a hurricane, an earthquake, a tornado, a flood, a fire or a hazardous spill, an act of nature or an act of terrorism. It builds over days or weeks, or hits suddenly, without warning. Every year, millions of Americans face disaster, and its terrifying consequences.

United Relief Foundation's Helping Hands Lifeline focuses on providing Help and Hope to "specifically" qualified individuals and families within the United States of America.

You can help Make a Noticeable and Lasting Difference

United Relief Foundation's Help Hands Lifeline has been expanded to respond to the human suffering related to homeless, either from a natural or man-made disaster or difficult circumstances, in America.

United Relief Foundation has initiated Project Restoring Hope which focuses on easing the suffering of homeless individuals and families, especially Veterans, starting with Illinois Veterans.

You can help Make a Noticeable and Lasting Difference donation or your time or money. Or by engaging your customers, church or club; organizing your colleagues or classmates; or gathering your family and friends together to help provide theessential needs and homes for Illinois Veterans.

Helping Hands responds to the devastation left by deadly storms

United Relief Foundation has reached out to the small town of Geiger, Alabama where of the town's 100 homes, 61 were completely destroyed by the recent deadly storms that devastated lives across Alabama, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Mississippi.

The Foundation continues to collect food, water, and hygiene kits being distributed from our Arlington Heights warehouse facility and United Relief Foundation volunteer rebuilding teams will be sent once a full assessment (of how the Foundation can best help) is complete.

To volunteer or make a donation please send an email detailing your interest to Lifeline@UnitedReliefFoundation.org [Volunteer & Donation designation: Geiger]
